Im so confused

I have a period tracker app on my phone that tells me when i ovulate, when i'm fertile etc.
It said I ovulated January 6th. but I felt crampy and achy and how I normally feel when i ovulate a couple days after. I took an ovulation test and it came up positive (is that even the right term)


Anyways me & SO had tons of sex from Sunday the 6th until this morning the 10th obviously.
I guess im just confused on how long your body ovulates for & the chances of me being pregnant? Also when do I test? My period is due in like two weeks.

My sister had a period tracking ap as well and I downloaded it at her suggestion and it was way off. The best an ap can do is guess so they aren't usually accurate.

I know that I ovulated, i took an ovulation test that said I was ovulating. + i felt ovulation symptoms.

My real question is when to test

The app I was using was spot on!. Remember too that his swimmers can live inside you for quite a while so if you did ovulate on one of those days, chances are pretty good.

We just started TTC.

They aren't always completely accurate but if you got a positive opk I would wait about 10-14 days to start testing after that. Good luck!  

10 days after you ovulated   that's when I got my BFP's
