VENT: MY CRAZY A** MOTHER UGH

So.... My mom decided to disown me permanently today. Why? Because I refuse to pay a bill she incurred. Then she started just trying to be mean. I didn't respond (this was all over text). She proceeded to say my husband (a hard working, educated, Christian man who is a youth pastor out side of work mind you) was just like my ex-husband "mark her words" ( my ex was abusive, and left my son and I homeless when he was 9 months old after he shook our son and I called the cops). THERE IS NO COMPARISON. My ex doesn't pay child support, quits his jobs as soon as they garnish his wages, and hasn't seen my son since he was 1 ... hes now nearly 5. My husband, on the other hand, spoils him rotten, refuses to call him "step" son (just son   and is fighting for adoptive rights. and this **** has the balls to say that!? I have half a mind to strangle her with my IV line (I am on home health care for severe hyperemisis... so I have a Zofran pump and IV... for the 2nd time) . I mean, I can muster the energy to walk 2 buildings over... just sayin. And THEN she accuses me of USING my son as a pawn... that it is" just like me to withhold him from her" (rightfully so I might add... she's a sociopathic bitch... seriously... textbook case) after she JUST said we weren't welcome in her home. ARE YOU KIDDING ME... this chick is joking right? I haven't witheld my son, and I probably should have. He hasn't seen her since November because the last time she saw him, she started spewing all sorts of crap about how mommy and daddy don't love him... I damn near lost it then... My husband had to drag me out of her apartment.


I am beyond done.

exactly what you did. only difference is me being me it would have gotten physical not to disrespect her but to get my point across that you DO NOT say stuff like that to my kid. think what you want about me but leave my kids out of it. im so sorry you have to deal with this. im in a simular situation so i feel for you. but honestly i think you and your beautiful growing family are better off without her

It almost got physical. The ONLY reason it didn't is because she has this thing where she likes to say everyone "abuses" her EVERYONE. Then she plays this whole "i'm disabled" card (which she's not... she is defrauding social security.. which I reported)... its a damn mess. Like I said. I jumped at her and my husband dragged me out of there. She makes my blood boil ...

like i said i feel for you. but you did the right thing by getting out of there. i only say that because its gonna cause you more stress than its worth and that can be bad for you and baby. im praying for you girl. your hubby sounds like a wonderful man. nobodys gonna know him the way you do. my husband did the same thing by taking my 7 year old from a previous relationship in as his own and loves him and treats him as his own son. and im right there with you on the abusive ex that has nothing to do with his son. mines just about the same . i say just about because i dont know details of your relationship but reguardless abuse is abuse and ive been there as well
