37 week appt

To sum it all up, I am 2 centimeters dilated and my cervic is soft. My doctor said it was very mushy?!? Im guessing that means I'm fully effaced? Last appointment I was 1 cm and 70%. She said Im probably going to go earlier with this one. (my daughter was born 2 days before her due date)

Lucky duck. I was dilated 3 but my cervix is still about 70%.   I just want to hold my little girl so bad. But I guess she isn't ready.

So I clicked on this thinkin I am extremely jealous your 37 weeks and im only 15 weeks lmao.. But congrats on the progress  

My dr. told me through out my pregnancy that I wouldn't go past my due date. My first was 5 days late and finally came on his own 5 days past his due date and put me through 30+ hours of labor.

My daughter, whom she promised would come on her own before her due date, was 10 days past due. When I walked in for my induction, I was 5 cm 100% effaced and not contracting at all.

Moral of the story? You doctor doesn't know jack about when that baby is going to come and being dilated and effaced doesn't mean a damn thing.

haha yea your almost halfway there though. Thats something to look forward to.

Thanks for the advice but I already knew that. This is merely a post stating my cervical progression. Not that Im going into labor tomorrow.

And? Did we really need to know your cervical progression? Why is your cervix our business? No one rightly cares.
