Swallowed a nickel

My nephew swallowed a nickel 4 days ago (not in my care and I don't even really know how he would have gotten it and why he would have swallowed it at almost 4). It hasn't passed and my sister took him to get an X-ray. It is still there. He has until Sunday night to pass it or he needs surgery to remove it.

Any advice on food that will make him poop more?

Fiber one bars!

Hot cereal with flax seed makes my kids smurf themselves silly. lol

they have laxatives for kids that are chewable chocolate flavor. idk about foods

Apple juice
prunes

Warm prune juice.

I swear it works every time.

He won't eat prunes.....would prune cookies have the same effect?

Anything with fiber in it. Apples can be a good source or any fiber one products I would think he would probably eat pretty easy.

they are! i had never had them and i had a coupon, so i thought i would try them. but i didn't intend for her to eat 5, lol. i would have given her one, but not that many. poor girlie!
