TMI AGAIN

posted 10th Jan
Ok a few days ago I posted about having alot of itchiness in my vagina and burning and sorness. Alot of you replied stating that it was a yeast infection well I developed something new, I did call the doctor that day and they couldnt get me into the doctors til thursday next week but earlier when I went to the bathroom i heard this pop and I was like what was that and I went to wipe and it was like so much burning just from wiping I almost cried I think I had a blister of some sort down there and it popped omg I've never had anything like this happen to me, i have no idea what to think...

It's probably a really bad yeast infection or possibly some sort of std. Having a blister with everything else sounds like an std. Herpes is the first thing that comes to mind but you usually get a lot more blisters. I would refrain from having any sex and call to see if they have any openings before then. The sooner you get this treated the better.

I'm sorry mama it definitely sounds like herpes

Call the Dr back up and ask if you can be put on a cancellation list, so if someone cancels their appointment, you get it.

The blister makes me think you have herpes. Go get it checked out. They need to get a sample of it while you have a breakout.

And when you call again tell them you think you may have herpes because you have sores/blisters. It may be more urgent since testing should be done during a flare up.

Do you have free walk-in sti/std clinics?

As other people have said, you need to be checked and tested while the blisters are there!

I just got a pap smear 2 weeks ago and was checked for that already and everything came up normal. It was only one blister and it formed at one spot where I was more itchy than anywhere else.

tmi and personal but get a mirror ( if u havent already ) and see where the "pimple blister " is located.. my friend has herpes and she has itchyness burning and when she has a break out its sore and tender and it burns to pee.. there located usually inbetween the bum and vagina ( that skin that divides it )

This. But it can be located anywhere on your vagina to be honest. My friend has it too and she will e in excruciating pain when she has a break out.

That sounds very much like HSV-2(genital herpes). A very close friend of mine has it and when she had gotten her first breakout(which is the worst one u will get or so she was told by her doctor) she described what u had posted. She went in the next day,got tested and within hours got a personal call from her doctor letting her know that she did indeed have HSV-2. On the chance that is what is going on and u are pregnant ur doctor will most likely put u on valtrex(sp?) a month or two before u deliver and if u go into labor they will do constant checks to see if u are having a breakout...because if u are they will have to take the baby via c-section due to the risk of the baby catching it. Hope that's not what it is and that u are able to get in to the doc soon. Here is a link to some info http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/stdfact-herpes.htm

There are over a hundred different types of herpes strands just to let you know.

OP sometimes herpes blister come up in groups so although it may seem like one it could be multiple bunched together. And there could be more to come. I would maybe see about going to a clinic to get tested right away and then go to your doctor for treatment. Also a Pap smear wouldn't show any std results for something like herpes.

You are correct on the fact that there is MANY strands of the herpes virus but there are only 8 herpes strains that affect humans: http://chealth.canoe.ca/channel_section_details.asp?text_id=1364&channel_id=1020&relation_id=8287. And right one the money about the PAP not showing the results of a std. When u go in with sores they will take a swab and swab the sores themselves and send that in to test for stds. It is very important to go in ASAP because the sores CAN get infected and that will lead to even bigger problems.. I agree with WCM in that u should try going to a clinic..maybe that will give u a better chance at getting seen sooner?

Sounds like it could be an STD or POSSIBLY maybe irritation from shaving?? Ingrown hair from shaving coincidentally at the same time as a yeast infection?? I'm just trying to give other options but from everything I've read about it sounds like herpes is a huge possibility.
