fever question

I posted earlier that my 2 1/2 yr old is sick and has a fever. Well his fever went from 101.7 to 102.8... I was planning on calling his Dr first thing tomorrow but should I take him to the ER instead since his fever is going up even with tylenol every 4 hours? He also has a horrible cough... he coughs so bad he throws up.. and he won't play. He is just laying on the couch. He won't eat either.. he is drinking water which is good. But should I still wait until the morning or go ahead and take him in? He has never been this sick before...

i wouldnt consider going to the er til it htis 104, it snt going down with tylenol or motrin, or if hes acting super lethargic... and just make sure hes drinking which is the main thing and i think youll be okay til tomorrow when you can get him an appt with hsi pedi
