I don't mind it being considered 'southern', I just don't want the name to inhibit his future, KWIM? It's a strong male name, we love it, but I don't think we will end up using it because of the 'negative' that would come with. "redneck" "white trash" etc...

I would like the name alright if the association to Waylon Smithers from the Simpsons wasn't so strong in my mind.
