Flu, Help!

DD got sick monday night, took her to the doctor tuesday... tested very positive for flu. boo! She'll be 2 next month, So although the doctor could perscribe her the flu stull... t something flu, he said he wouldnt give it to his child because its linked to autism in japan. So of course I said no, he gave us a decongestant & a pain and fever reducer we switch out every 3 hours... Well since tuesday she's developed runny diapers, you can hear her breathing sometimes, sometimes she sounds like shes going hoarse, and her temps have been pretty high. she's still sleeping all the time and not acting herself. Should I take her back to the doctor tomorrow? I'm afraid if she gest worse over the weekend i'll have to take her to the ER & our ER sucks so i'd rather take her to the doctor. I've never had the flu so i dont know if this is just normal flu or if its becoming more... I know a lot of people are being put in the hospital & even deaths from it.... so i may just be paranoid. I mean there is nothing more they can do because I refuse to give her that medication... any advice?
