I am surrounded by people who had to put cereal in the bottle and YES! it worked and helped a ton and their babies had very,very little to no spit-up. And yes, you DO add the formula also. Not a lot of people agree with putting cereal in the bottle because of the choking, but hell babies still can/do choke on ANYTHING that goes in their mouth, even if its just liquids, I see no problem with it at all.

amen lol if you watch the child the chances of preventing the choking or stoping it if it happens is high DD would probably choke if i stopped giving her thi cerewal

lol, yep.

My friend tried to ease off the cereal after her son's AR got better, and he would NOT take the bottle without the cereal, he got so use to the "thickness".

yea i had to break DD of the kayro syrup i had to use it until she got used to the soy and oatmeal

i didnt see your earlier comment about her refusing solids but i started my toddler on rice cereal in the bottle at 2 months old cause he had really bad acid reflux and they put him on every medicine and it wasnt helping him at all. The doctor finally told me to put a little bit of cereal in his bottle and it was the best thing i did he rarely spit up after that. I dont remeber how much i put in but just make sure it isnt very thick so she doesnt choke
