HBP ; Pregnant ; No Insurance

posted 10th Jan
Hello ladies!

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and I have HBP since I was 14. I have always been on medicine for this but now since I got pregnant I cannot take the medicine that they gave me. Also my insurance is messed up right now and wont be in effect until next Thursday... I feel as if I should go to the ER to make sure everything is okay ... Would you guys go to the ER?

Why is it all of a sudden an emergency? You've gone 11 weeks with no treatment, so why can't you wait until Tuesday?

Very well could be an emergency. People die from stokes all the time.

No I haven't taken it. I think just to be safe im going to go. It could be my life or my babies life in danger.

ERs are expensive. Try a Walgreens or Walmart to check your bp first
