ParaGard?

I'm considering getting the ParaGard birth control after my daughter is born.. Do any of you ladies have it? Love it or hate it? Any complications? Thanks so much in advance for your responses!  

Had it, and I would have loved it had I not been allergic to copper.

Because I'm allergic it caused me all sorts of smurf, it rejected, then I would bleed for 10+ days straight HEAVY, and then as my bodies last response to try to "kill" it, it started to cover it up with flesh. Lol.

Needless to say this is rare, and it served it's purpose. About 3 years and NO pregnancy.

I have it and it does its job, but it can make periods heavier and I am having some cyst and uterine pain issues that may or may not be related.
But LO will be 3 next month and I haven't gotten pregnant once since she's been born.

Thanks for sharing your experience ladies! I'm terrible at taking pills and don't trust the shot... And I have heard enough bad things about Mirena to make me not want it. lol.

I JUST literally made an appointment 5 minutes ago to get it removed. I can't stand it anymore! I have had it exactly 4 months today and spent the first 2 1/2 months bleeding(not spotting) non stop on it. Then I got my first period on it Dec 21-27 and then started bleeding again 2 weeks later for 4 days straight. I didn't have any other issues with it but I just want my body back to normal so I am getting it removed Feb 5th. Good luck though! Hopefully, it will work for you and you won't have any issues with it.
