Not good enough?

In a relationship-Does anyone feel like they're never good enough? No matter what you do...

I do everything in our household, except pay the Sky/Broadband bill... And its still not good enough for him.

Wish I got to be as lazy and bone idle as him, but I have my sons, my own and his priorities to keep satisfied. Course I'm the bad smurf for stressing out now and again.

So like I said, every day, every minute, I'm never gonna be good enough for him. I love him, but how do I get my self confidence back up? Feel good about myself? Stand up to someone who feels we are equal when equality doesn't exist in this relationship? :-/

That was part of the reason why I am now divorced. That, and he was cheating. I haven't cried or felt bad about myself since the day I moved out

Don't be with someone like him. Seriously. You might love him, and in his own way he might say he does...but it takes more than love to make it work. Respect...it's something he's lacking. I couldn't be with someone who makes me feel insecure or bad about myself. My husband makes me want to be a better person, not because he makes me feel like I'm not good enough for him, but because he inspires me to go after my goals and do what I want in life.
