sick question

My oldest, Lennon, is sick. He is 2 1/2. He has a horrible cough, fever of 101.7, and really out of it. His Dr is closed today so im making an apt first thing tomorrow but is there anything I can do for him tonight? He coughs so bad he throws up. I feel so bad for him  

Tylenol/Motrin. Sounds almost like he has pneumonia or the flu. Just keep him well hydrated and relaxed tonight and call first thing tomorrow. Hope he feels better fast!

Is there an "Urgent Care" center around where you live? They check kids for symptoms like that. You can also run a REALLY hot shower and close the door to the bathroom. Sit in there with him for a few mins and the steam will usually help with a cough, helps to break it up so they can cough it out sometimes. Worth a shot. Hope he feels better soon.
