mucus tmi

for the past 2 days ive been loseing a very thick clear stringy blobbly mucus (no blood streaks) i only experianced this type of mucus when i was very early pregnant (5 weeks) but not to this extent, could this be my mucus plug and the start of me dilating (i know u can start slowly dilating early on and lose ur plug and stick at 1-2 cm untill establish labout. for the past 2 weeks ive also been having heavy BH which get worse after intercourse. Itake it these are all good signs, but i am just curious as to what this mucus is... as i didnt lose my last ones untill i was fully in labour and they had streaks of blood in them

Sounds like your mucus plug. There isn't always blood that comes with it

You can lose part of it and it can regenerate. With my 2nd i lost part of it, no blood or anything and called my OB and she said i was probably starting to dialate but nothing to worry about and i stayed 3 cm for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy.
