He should be paying 15% of each paycheck to her. For us half of daycare and half of medical expenses was seperate. It's not because she's jealous. It's because children are freaking expensive.

They will take both of thier pay in consideration. Not your family.

I am pretty sure it is the same everywhere, but at least here they take a certain amount out of his check and it DOES matter how much she makes, they take both into consideration, so just because she WANTS $600 a month does not mean she will get it
I believe Day care would be a separate thing, though. I am not 100% sure because DH doesn't have to pay for day care for his daughter.

it is separate in michigan and depending on the fathers rights he has a say in where the child goes for day care.

unfortunantly, they don't care. From what I've seen and heard, they don't care too much that he has a second family established, it's the first one that's been established first. My cousin got court ordered to pay $600 a month for ONE child. I know for a fact that she doesn't work(hasn't since before she got pregnant the first time and she uses her child support money to bail her boyfriend out of jail(more than once), paid for his license to get re-instated, etc. She just had another baby with that guy and uses that money to pay for this new kids stuff.. He also has another kid on the way(my cousin).. Her new boyfriend doesn't even have a job. I feel bad for her in a way and I feel bad for her kid b/c the money doesn't go to support him; she's always complaining that she never has money for her kid(cousins child)

Every place is different, but here we take both income in a calculator and come up with a number and the father pays a certain amount of medical expenses and daycare depending on his income.

It's hard... my Ex pays 300 a month, and he should be paying so much more... He doesnt buy her anything except hand me down toys for his house.. no clothes.. He should be paying 700 a month, but I try to avoid a problem.. but if she got the 700 a month, it would be better for her... Unfortunately, if you play, you gotta pay.

For DH he is ordered to pay $254/month, have her on his insurance and has to pay 1/2 of all medical expenses.
When we talked to the lawyer they said it it does matter if he has a child because they cannot take x amount for one child and leave the other without. But this is with being married, he advised us to have CS reevaluated after Jay is born because it may drop more

He has a good job which is why he pays so much. They broke up within 3 months of her being pregnant anyway. She wanted state assistance which is why they went after him in the first place. I am a firm believer in paying your dues but when the ex is all about money money then it makes me think differently.I mean, if you're using your child support money for your boyfriend instead of your child, it's a problem.. I barely get $200 a month from my ex lol. She's lucky!! My cousin is going to get a lawyer after this new child is born. She's going to be pissed about it but the child isn't the only one he needs to be responsible for
