Getting her more use to her sippy cup?

So, my DD will be during 1 on the 27th. I am going to try and wean her from the boob but the hard thing is, is that right now really all she drinks is breast milk so she isn't 100% use to her sippy cup.

She knows how to hold it & stuff but when it comes to drinking out of it, she is kinda lost. She tries biting on the sippy cup nipple to get the water out of it, she doesn't get how to actually suck on it to get the water out which is kinda why I am wondering what do I do to make her get more use to it?

put the breast milk in the sippy cup, use half water & half juice in the sippy cup.

change the kind of sippy cup nipple you use think of how she usually gets milk juice etc out of your boob or a bottle whatever she is used to and find a starter sippy that will help her get used to that idea then move up to diffrent sippys or go straight to a straw or cup...

ya maybe have couple types of sippy cups for her

My son HATES sippy cups BUT he loves to drink from a straw so I will put milk in a cup with a straw at meal times and he will drink it then but I still give him the bottle. I have him on 9-24 months formula for the fact that when he only drinks whole milk he gets diarrhea so his doctor says to keep him on the formula for now. good luck

I tried for ages with Rory and woke up one day and Jason started talking about how he had apple juice and sucked it right out of his cup and I did a   face and he showed me. Since he's done awesome. I think just finding something he liked encouraged him. AND someone besides me giving it to him. Now you set it down and he shuffles his worm body to it as fast as you can imagine and is all over it lol.

Have you tried different brands/ styles? My girls will be 1 on the 15th and seem to prefer the straw cups.

We got DD a sippy with a soft silicon nipple on top.
After drinking out of it for about a month, we switched to a soft silicon spout.
Then moved her to a rubber spout, and now finally at a hard plastic spout.

They are! We got some shorter wider ones, and they were terrible even though they're the same brand. It was disappointing. They leak something horrible.

She has a Nuk Sippy cup which is soft & bends like a nipple. She doesn't have the hard spout ones. Her's is a starter.

I get like NOTHING out when I pump. I don't give her juice either, she doesn't like it any ways lol.
