Ear piercings!

Do they ever close? Mine never has, but my daughter is almost 5, and she had hers done when she was about 6 months id say, well now i hate that i do it, sometimes i put earings in her ears. But she hasnt had earings in for about a year.. Im just wondering if they close over time? Does it depend on how long youve had it done? Vary from person?

It depends. My left hole would close up constantly and I would have to get it repierced 3 more times but my right hole never closed up.

had my girls done when they were babies and the close over time if they don't wear them . I have holes that I don't wear earrings in often and I have to break the skin on them if I put earrings in them.

If I leave DDs out for a couple says they start to skin over. She's 5. It probably depends on how long u had them. U know it won't be painless if she redoes them when she's older because there'll be scar tissue. Did u ask her if she wants them? Dd loves hers.

I guess it depends. I had three holes in my lobes, I got the first hole when I was probably like 5 and then the other 2 when I was 13 but I didn't really like them that much after a while so I only wore earrings in them for about a year, I'm 21 now and those other 2 holes still haven't closed up.

She SOMETIMES ask to have some... Rarely ever. Last time we put some in, she took them out and threw them all over the house lol, wed always wake up and they were out. So i didnt put any in, now i feel bad for getting them done in the first place, and want that to be something special she asks for and we can do together when she is older. Im pregnant now with a little girl and def will not be getting them done with her.

Mine never did. I got them pierced when I was 6 wore earrings for about a year and took them out and only put some in on occasion. They are still open and I haven't worn earrings in a few years

I got my ears done as a baby, and wore earrings till about 9, then didnt for about 15 yrs and they never closed up.

My dd is 10 had them as a baby but went a few yrs without them in and they didnt close either.
