Talk to your work maybe they will give you more time?

Your job won't just let you go 3 more weeks? How long have u been there for? Do u have any vacation or sick?

Can you take any vacation/sick time off?

can you take unpaid time off (if that's affordable)? I'd do that if I had to.

You should still be allowed 6 weeks...it just won't all be paid.

I just found out so I'm going to talk to them next week.
I really hope theres some extra time off I can take off but it's so strict here

In my area we get disability and FMLA. I haven't been with my company for a year yet so I will only get my 6 weeks of disability or jowever long my dr has me out for. If i had FMLA I would use that afterwards for another 6 weeks.

I went back to work after a week with my first...I don't recommend it.
Maybe have your dr write a note to your job saying you need the full 6 weeks.

3 years almost
Fmla uses all ur vacation / sick pay so I have none left
I really don't care if it's unpaid. I was already expecting that but Im sure I won't be okay after 3 weeks.

This is what I did. I didn't get any pto or fmla, I took off 8 weeks unpaid.

Will your child be in daycare? I know daycares here are not allowed to take an infant until they are 6 weeks old. Maybe that can help your case.

I went back to work after a c-section, once at 2 weeks and the second time at 3 weeks. BUT I took my babies to work with me. I would NOT recommend going back so soon if you cant keep the baby with you. This time around Im not able to bring the baby with me, and Im fighting for 12 weeks.

You know u get 12 weeks fmla then right? Under a yr 6 wks over a yr 12 wks.

This just made me so much more stressed out ugh

Fmla should give u 6 weeks.
