Immunization
posted 10th Jan
Lately I have been thinking really hard on living a cleaner life. I've switched my twins off most of the processed foods they normally eat and starting to feed them more fruit, veggies, etc. I have always been against the flu shot and stopped receiving it after leaving my Government job where it was mandated to get it every year. I've not let my girls receive it the last few years either. My question is, what solid information can I find about them not receiving other vaccinations. What are the pros and cons?

I really like the vaccine book by Dr.Sears you should check it out.He is a "pro" vaccine Dr but also believes in selective/delayed/alternative schedules. His book is, to me, very unbiased. My 4th baby is 3months and has had no type of vaccination.

I would look up Dr. Sears he has a lot of information about vaccinating and/or not vaccinating Pros ans cons kind of depends on the individuals. For example my nephew would die if he had chicken pox vaccine, as he is allergic to eggs. My father, on the other hand, needs to get flue vaccine because his imune system is compromised, basically makes symptoms of flue less severe for him.
My family selectively and delays vaccinating. We feel some vaccinations are necessary to help protect our kids from having a disease too severe for their bodies to handle such as polio and small pox We also believe that they do need to be exposed to some things on their own to naturally build up immune system. Some we feel are completely unnecessary such as newborn eye drops, as I do not have an STD.
