here we go

posted 10th Jan
I apologize if this is not in the right forum. Anyway my son is 14 months old. Here lately he has been going to sleep for me just fine but around 330 4 oclock in the morning he will wake up and start crying. this is very unusual for him since he has slept through the night since he was 7 weeks with no problems until now. Here goes the not so great part on my behalf . he woke up one night and I tried to see if he would go back to sleep if I laid him in my bed with me since I had already tried everything else (patting, rubbing, changing, feeding) and as soon as I laid him down with me he was out and I fell asleep also.im not trying to make a habit out of him sleeping with me but ever since that incident it seems that when he wakes up that's what he wants to do..sleep with me. so my questions are. besides teething what could be causing him to suddenly wake up? and how do I get him to go back to sleep in his own bed without wanting to get in mine. TIA everyone

Let him go to sleep with u and transfer him back to his bed??
Maks went thru seperation anxiety, hes going to be 16 months and gets out of his bed and walks over whining, I just cuddle him and put him back to sleep, sometimes I pass out too, sometimes my husband takes him back to his room...
They just want to be with us sometimes,

Yep ive tried it too. He wakes up as im putting him in the crib and screams again.. SO says we should just let him cry it out in there until he realizes that he isnt going to get his way.. it makes sense but i just cant stand to jear him scream like that and not do anything.. i guess its the mother instinct. Lol. Which iz funny bc before he was born i always said id be a CIO momma.. but now that hes here its completely different.
