I agree we are going backwards. I swear women need to go on a massive castration spree on these douche bags. Maybe then they would think twice about it. The only problem is women do lie about it all the time. It is really hard to prove it wasnt consensual except in extreme cases. So yeah I think men get away with way to much smurf because they are men, but I think the women who lie about rape are just as bad.

Yes I find this very disturbing to push the idea that a respectable woman would not be raped therefor if you are raped you must have been some sort of slut anyway so deserved. I mean WTF? What a very disturbing idea to promote.

You should look up the one in Steubenville Ohio. That is a massive town cover up involving Police, Coaches, Attorney, everyone. It's disgusting and had been swept under the carpet until last month when hacktivist group Anonymous got involved. There was also recently a case were an 11 year old girl was being regularly gang raped by 18 men and video taped and the lawyer put the blame on the girl and people in the town interviewed made comments suggesting that she dressed older than her years and looked like a slut anyway. That was somewhere in America, I'll try find a link.

Did you actually read that article?   It has actually included cases were DNA is "inconclusive", cases were the wrong man was arrested, etc, etc, etc in order to bump the "statistic" right up. It is written in such a misleading way with the intention of the reader percieivng it to mean that 40% are falsely accussed. It is in fact only pointed out loosely that none of what has been written means that a rape hasn't taken place just essentially that they couldn't prove if or couldn't find the right man. It actually completely disgusts me the way that has been written!!!!

yes i read it... i understood it, and it made sense to me, its not saying IT IS 40% but if its "inconclusive" some would be probably be "matched" and some may not. thats why it really says more like 25%

That link says it is more likely around 25% and that the 25% does not mean false reporting or false accusation, but incorrect identification of the perpetrator.
