Yeah they cannot MAKE you put your soc. don't do it. Te school can call him directly If they need it.

The idiot gave it to her.. She just told him she was starting her this month.and of course called while he was busy at work.
Is that even possible?? I thought the child had to be five by August or September.? She turned five in December.. Or if she was beginning in the "spring" she would have already needed to be registered. Maybe I'm wrong, this is just too fishy for me

I actually just registered my son yesterday and they didn't ask for my social, only his. I wonder what she wants it for?

I remember putting it with his shot records, birth certificate, and the registration form, they looked at his card and specifically said they didn't need that,
I registered Dean, and only info they asked about his dad was phone number, occupation, home and work adress, and the case number for our custody ruling from court...

Then what the heck would she need his soc for.. They just got into an argument last time they spoke.. I don't trust her one bit

If she just turned 5 in December she wouldn't be able to start kindergarten till the fall in August or September!!!!

Does he know what school it is?? I would call and ask them if they need it, lol then id prob be an ass and tell her he called school to give them the number and they had no idea what I was talking about    

Depending on his insurance they may have needed it for her Dr. appointment.We have Tricare and my husband's social is the policy number.I also remember needing my X's SS for my son's paperwork at the Drs office.
But like you say he isn't on the birth certificate....does he pay child support?
If not she could be going through the state to get child support, having his social would make it easier to get the case established.If she is doing that she is well within her rights to do so.Your husband should be trying to get put on the birth certificate.
