Feel Weird

Hey Ladies

Some Advice is needed.
I was diagnosed with a short cervix, when i was 18 weeks preg, where the doc said to me i could lose my little girl. Everything is now fine, i am now almost 31 weeks. How do i get my man to make love to me and get him in the mood to be with me, i know my body is not what it was, but i am really really in the mood, and he does not seem to be interested at all with either playing around, or being affectionate with me. I feel a little embarrassed to ask for sex or kissing the whole time.

All my friends say its cos their is a moving human being inside of me which put him off, but the doc has now said its okay for us to have intercourse but have to use protection, because his sperm can make me go into labor.

Not to sure what i should do. Very confused.
I am still working full day, get home cook and clean, so that he does not have to, all i want is a little R n R and feel wanted.

If you have a shortened cervix and are at risk for incompetent cervix because of it, I don't think you're supposed to be having sex. I have a shortened cervix and am on pelvic rest (no sex) for any pregnancy. Has your doctor mentioned anything about being high risk or on pelvic rest? I would call and double check, just in case.

Maybe he doesnt wanna poke the baby or make you go in to labor. mine does the samething so i can have keep asking him and he will but not all the time.But if i was you would wait untill after the baby because he can make you go into labor early my doctor told me that so i have to be careful of what we do

Explain what a Pelvic rest is? Because i know i am special kinds of Meds because they could not do the stitch because i was to far along in my Preg, and would of Torn out.

She only mention if i do have sex, that i need to use a condom.

And what about Playing around?

aww you will be fine just think after you give birth and wait 6 weeks or how many weeks they tell you can have sex.. here in indiana its 6 weeks to wait for sex

With a shortened cervix, they don't like you to have sex at all (no orgasm or nipple stimulation either) until 35ish weeks or cerclage removal. At 31 weeks, i'm siding with your hubby. You should talk to your dr before you decide to have sex. If he's ok with it and everything's stable, i'd be giving completely different advice.

lmao, I had NO desire to have sex while pregnant. I was secretly fine with being on pelvic rest because I didn't have to feel bad about turning down DH every night, lol. It's for the health of your child, that's how they can tell you that. I would double check with your doctor.

LOL   I was only able to have sex during my first pregnancy, so I feel your pain.  

When I was pregnant I was a biotch! My BD didn't want to touch me or have anything to do with sex. So I told him either he could do it or I would get someone else to do it for me. That's probably a horrible thing to say, but it worked. I'm not saying you should do this though, because it really depends on how sensitive your man is.

Thanks, but i really do not want to cause myself to go into labor, i have almost 8 Weeks left, and would rather carry full term...

But this is the time where i have to suck it up and deal with it. I wish things could be different but guess not.

Just a pitty because always been a sexual person with my hubby and now nothing. Frustrating much
