Which is the proper spelling? Over the past few days I've seen people spell it both ways and even on baby name apps they have both. This is for sure the name we're using if we have a girl, So I'm just curious as to which one is the proper way? Thanks in advance.

I say Emmaline, so id guess thats how you spell it, ive never seen Emmeline

i've always seen Emmalyn. But I know everyone says if you use a 'y' it's misspelled...but I think it looks better that way. Out of your two though, I'd say Emmaline is more correct.

they are pronounced differently..

emma..LYNN
or emma LINE..
they are 2 difffernt names.

I think they sound differently. Emmeline (would sound like Emme- LEAN) while Emmaline (would sound like Emma-LINE).
