Picky eater and losing weight on a budget?
posted 10th Jan
Okay so I am quite a picky eater and I have had awful eating habits for quite some time. The past 2 years I would eat 1 meal a day (not for weight loss purposes just not being hungry) I also am a heavy pop drinker. back in 2011 I dropped 40lbs went from 180- 140 it was during pregnancy at that time when I was pregnant I quit smoking right away stopped drinking pop and ate more and tried to eat healthy, I still dropped all that weight and my pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. I got pregnant again a few months later and now I have my son. I am back to my bad eating habits and I feel like I can't afford to eat healthy and even if I could I wouldn't like most of the healthier choice of foods. How do you lose weight on a budget while being a picky eater? Any advice/tips would be appreciated?

There's really only one way to work it out: Get less picky.
Tastes change over the years and foods should be retried to see if you have warmed to their taste. And if you still don't like the taste, prepare it another way the next time. Don't eat junk and your body will crave it less (soda as well).
As for cost savings, you can opt for frozen veggies over fresh. Avoiding processed foods and just eating what you make from scratch will not only save you money but can help with health (no chemicals, no crazy additives, etc).
Lots of water will go a long way as well!
Good luck and you can do it !
