BF Mamas- Letdown

I'm just curious if this letdown will always be somewhat painful/uncomfortable or if at some point it doesn't hurt anymore? I don't remember with DD1, I only bf for 3 months with her but my nipples were in such a bad state I don't even remember much of bfing her period.

Guess it depends. Both times I bf rarely would the tingling, nearly burning sensation not happen. Like if I was in the shower lol

For me it's always been painfull, when I'm engorged it hurts even more. LO will be 11 weeks tomorrow.

I breast fed for ten months. It isn't always as painful as when you first start out. I always found it a bit relieving.
Can you alternate with a shield until your nipples get a bit tougher?

I've been BFing for 4 months and letdown is still tingly and weird. Still painful. It honestly hasn't gotten any better in my case!

10 months now and some days I don't even notice my let down. But other times it stings and tingles.  

I've noticed my letdown each time. Most times its just a tingly slight burning ahh feeling from the milk just being released. Its the same way when I pump tho too.

I do notice that its more painful if baby isnt latched on the full correct way tho too.

Thankfully I don't have sore nipples this time around. With DD1 they were cracked & bled a lot  

Thanks ladies! I guess it's something I'm gonna have to get used to lol

lol once little one gets bigger it might get eaiser. I've nursed three kids and i dont recall it being uncomfortable the whole time. Just like the first month thne your body gets use to everything

Mine stings and burns really bad....it makes me cringe :/
