Two year old, up with a tummy ache.. Suggestions.

My dd, who just turned two, has been up for the last hour and a half (it's 2:40 here) with a tummy ache. She has vomited once, no fever. She's squirmy like when baby's tummies hurt and she said it hurts when I touch it. Any suggestions about how I can help her? It's the middle of the night and my brain isn't functioning.

Peppermint water

Like, fresh peppermint leaves in water? I don't have any fresh herbs in the house at the moment.

when is the last time she went #2? I gave my LO gas drops at two if they were acting like that lol

Any kind really. Oil, even peppermint candies crushed up. If you trust her with gum for a bit have her chew peppermint gum.

She just pooped earlier tonight (on the potty!!) around 5pm. A big bowel movement so I know she isn't constipated.

YAY for the potty! She may have gas? Have you tried trotting her?

How fast should this help? I let her chew up a little piece of peppermint candy and she's still really upset.

It can be anywhere from 5-30 minutes.

Thank you ladies!! I gave her a little piece of peppermint cnsdy to chew up and a little piece of candies finger from when I had morning sickness. It helped and we managed to be back in bed before 3:30am.
