Super Annoyed

SO and I just got into a little bit of a bicker over me not working. I have put out literally over 300 resumes since december, filled out apps for places I am over qualified for and even dropped my classes this semester to find full time work with benefits. He knows I am trying really hard and he makes me feel like smurf about it. I am so annoyed. He just recently quit his job but gets unemployment, so before he left for the store I was kind of mean and told him good luck finding a new job in this economy. I feel so unappreciated and I feel like he doesn't even notice how much I sacrafice and am trying. ANYONE know anyone hiring in the philadelphia are let me know I can't take this anymore. GRRRR!

One of my friends just got two job offers for daycares in west Philly and she has no daycare experience.

Thanks, they wont hire me. I have a DUI, go it when I was 22.   I think that is why I am not getting a job. That would be after the interview they find out though, I am not even getting call backs.

good luck.. im in the same boat with you.. ive put out dozen of apps and nobody wants me right now..
it pissed me off. SO lost his job put out like 4 apps and got hired withen 3 weeks. ive been looking for 4 months and nothing!

Thanks good luck to you too. I feel like that will happen with SO too then he will throw in my face that he found work and I can't as if I am not trying.

yeah.. SO says the key is to call them about a week after you put in the app.. then call once a week until they say no or give you a interview

One of my other friends (I have a lot of friends who work in daycares, lol) actually got her DUI expunged. Is that a possibility for you? I mean not that it would happen right away but it would make your life a lot easier. I'm going back to school because I haven't been able to find ANYTHING, not even a waitressing job.

I always call to follow up the app if possibly. My expungement wont be complete for 90 days. Thanks ladies
