so im due monday - but ive been having pains in my vajay like i got punched really hard in it .. do u think this is a start of contractions?? andd another thing a few of my friends told me to buy castor oil cause it worked for them but im a chicken and not sure if i want to take it ... adivceee pleasee

Do not take it. You will smurf your brains out and it can cause stress to your baby! Just be patient. And no I don't think those are contractions.

DO NOT take castor oil. it will make you violently ill and can harm the baby by forcing you into having contractions/being in labor. That is what my dr. told me and my friends who have taken it warned me never EVER to do it, neither of them went into labor from it but they both got sick as SMURF.

the pain down there could be your cervix stretching (I felt mine from 36 weeks on to 39, when I had DS...) and as for the castor oil... I wouldn't suggest it, it could work but for me it just made me super sick.

Sounds to me like you're experiencing vaginal pain. Pretty normal towards the end of your pregnancy. And I'm gonna say no to the castor oil.

this is my second child and i was pretty young when i had her so when i was having contractions i didnt even realize i was my mom had to ask me if i was having them . so now i dont even really remember what they felt like in the beginning it wa 4 years ago. im just anxious and ready to have her . i go to my midwife tomorrow and she'll let me know whats going on. i was 2cm dialted with soft cervix about 10 days ago and im thinking the pain could be me possibly dialating more? and as for the castor oil im not going to take it i dont feel like sitting on the toilet all night or causing anyyyyy kind of harm to her or myself   thanks for the advice

the pain could just be from the extra blood flow dont take caster oil it can put the baby into distress, relax walk have sex bounce on a birthing ball but u wont go into labor till ur body is ready.

so quick update - my midwife gave me permission to try the castor oil i took it at 11:45pm tonight and am waiting to see what happends... hoping to have my baby by monday

it didnt even make me go to the bathroom AT ALL .... but i did lose my mucus plug so thats a plus .. still waiting on her - think im feeling little contractions begin so fingers crossed.

I took castrol oil with my first child and I didn't poop at all everyone's different I did go into labor the next day so good luck.... I plan on drinking this time as well
