This is getting Frustrating

I really want to go back to school so I can make a better life for my girls but I just can't figure out what I want to go for. I'm so tired if feeling like I'm a failure I'm a 25 yr old single mom of 2 living with her parents working a min wage job

What are your interests?

Just start with the basics. Math writing etc. at my school they have class and even a test that anyone can take to help pick what career would be best. What interests you?

Im 38 and I will graduate nursing school in April... You are still REALLY young!!!

I feel the same way. I'm 30 and a SAHM until my kids are old enough to go to school and then I'll go back to work. I need to figure something out, I don't want to go back to working as a cashier or in food service.

If you set your mind to it, you can accomplish anything!

Well, you could always start and just take your gen eds the first couple of semesters while you figure out what your major will be. Certain classes you are going to have to take no matter what like English, math, communication, humanities, etc. They can take up at the very least a whole semester, most likely 2 full semesters, so why not go ahead and start with those and figure it out as you go?

Just start with getting your AA!

it takes work to be successful, sometimes it takes longer than expected but you're only 25 you still have your whole life to live. There are single 40 year olds still living in their parent's basements not doing anything with their lives. You are trying to get back on your feet as a Single Mom to 2 kids and that's hard. Just take it one step at a time, what did you want to do before you had kids? What profession did you want to be? And just move towards that goal one step at a time.

Well first i would sign up at ur local college, second i would take the CPT. Once u have these scores if u need remedial classes you could take them and just have a major put down to enroll, once u figure it out you adviser would be more then happy to change it.

Im going for sonogrphy but all my classes this semester wont even be college credits because they are remedial classes.


If u don't need any of the remedial classes take a look at what they offer and see if u think that would be something u would want to do...

Im 23 i will be 24 in april and have 2 kids and go to school full time... At this point my family has told me they want me to do well in school and they will help me get on my feet but they don't want me getting a part time job as i have a full time job taking care of the kids. It's hard but in the end it will pay off and i will be able to support my family.

I was a cna for years I always figured I'd go back to be an RN but I don't know if that's what I want anymore. I thought about just taking general classes and maybeI could figure out during that time what I want to be. Thanks for the Encouragement it really does help at times especially when I start to feel down

I myself just turned 23 in October, have a 20 month old, am due next month work full time and go to school full time and I graduate in May assuming I can manage to give birth in the middle of the semester and not fail anything. It's hard, it really is, but it's not impossible and it's definitely worth it! Just don't feel like you have to have it all figured out to get started because you don't.

I went into my college last year and when they would not help me I kinda gave up...

When i went in last time i was finally told i needed my IRS transcripts finally after getting them i got the help i needed.
