Do most doctors require you be a certain age, or have a certain number of kids, or will they just do one without question?

I think it varies with the states the age or the amount of kids you have to have. I know TX you have to 26yrs old or have 3 kids.

We have one child and my husband was 26 when he got it done. But i dont know if its different in other states.
