pregnancy and b/f

I'm currently b/f my 7 month old but the last week or so I've noticed she has been fussy after only eating a few minutes at times. She will pull away and cry. Sometimes I will squeeze to make sure milk is still coming out and it does so I'm not sure if that's the problem or what. Well a few times this week I've felt nauseas but haven't given it much thought until tonight and I looked up symptoms of pregnancy while b/f and it says pulling away can be a sign. I'm starting to feel nervous now that I might be. I am on b/c and I haven't missed any pills but she does eat solids now and I have gotten my period back so I know I'm probably fertile. I'm just worried that if I am I'll lose my supply and the thought is upsetting me that I couldn't b/f her anymore   I know the only way to tell is to take a test but I don't have any here right now, I'll buy one tomorrow. If you've gotten pregnant while b/f what were some signs?

Is she teething at all? Did you just start the b/c ? Is it combo or mini pill? I got prego through the mini pill and breastfeeding, but I also spent the whole 3 months i was on it bleeding off and on. If you're on the mini pill, it's very important that you take it at the same time of day every day. The mini pill is kind of picky.

For me the only symptoms I got was extreme dizziness.

She could very well be teething she has 2 bottom teeth already. I am on the mini pill and I've been on it since 3 months pp. I take it the same time every day and we used condoms till I was about 5 month pp to make sure the pill was working well. This will be a huge shock if I am we were thinking of having one more but not right now. I'm also not sure when my period it due because it came at an off time one time so now it comes in the middle of my pack which is about where I am now so I'm not sure if I'm actually late yet.

Yeah it's real tricky to figure out periods while breastfeeding and on the mini pill. I'm kind of paranoid about pregnancy, so i normally have a test hanging around 'just in case' i get that feeling that there might be an issue. lol I would just take a test because it's not worth freaking out if it's not the issue. Baby pulling away and crying then relatching was a sign of pregnancy with my 2nd and 4th (1st and 2nd 12 months apart, 3rd and 4th 13 months apart) and then again though didn't happen as often when I found out we are expecting our 5th (this little one will be 20 months from 4th).

I did continue to breastfeed till my third was 10 months (so 3 months before delivery) and then she self weaned. This time since my baby was already on solids when I conceived she has cut back to more to nursing for comfort, prior to naps, and nighttime nursing versus all day long but we're still going pretty strong, I'm 4 months along and she's now 14 months old.

In my experience I usually have decreased supply mid second trimester then my milk comes back a few weeks later. Though I haven't nursed all the way through birth yet many women have and I'm letting our 4th baby self wean as I did my 2nd and 3rd so she could nurse till her sibling arrives and beyond we'll see.

Thanks! I'm gonna go ahead and get one tonight. I'm starting to feel like now it may just be my period getting ready to start. I heard your period can affect it as well and earlier I was getting some cramps. And the funny thing is today she has been nursing just fine now pulling away or crying and I can hear her getting milk so that made me feel better.

EEk don't tell me all this haha. I'm really not ready for another for a few reasons. I also was getting my P90X back from my brother today and was going to start it up but we'll see. I honestly don't feel pregnant right now and like I told the other girl she has been feeding a lot better today and I had some period like cramps earlier so I may be getting ready to start. I don't want to use condoms all the time but can I trust the mini pill? Oh and congrats on your newest pregnancy I didn't know you were expecting again! You are going to be one busy mama

That's a good question about the mini pill. For me, obviously it didn't work, so we just went back to condoms or the pull out and pray method. lol Yes your period can affect your milk supply. Good luck with the test!

Mini-pill failed me twice but I also believe it brings my cycles back. The two post partum periods I didn't use it my cycle didn't come back until after baby started solids.

Ok ladies I took a test tonight and when I went to pee I noticed I had started my period, so I wasted a test but it was negative thankfully. I guess it was my period making her act that way, that or teething. Now I'm a little nervous about the mini pill but not sure if I'll do anything different. Thanks for all your advice!
