You need to keep breastfeeding when you're sick because you're basically giving your daughter a dose of antibodies against the flu that you have each time you feed her. If she does get sick, she won't be sick as long as she would have if you stopped breastfeeding. That's part of the reason breastfeeding is so important in the beginning.

If you get sick you don't stop breast feeding you are producing antibodies that baby will get from your milk also if you are just now showing symptoms she could have already got it during the incubation period or might get it later. Just keep baby with you.

You could pump for a few days? But breast feeding is keeping her ammune system up so you should b fine I would just recommend u give her to someone else when your done

Don't stop BF-ing! Just wash your hands & don't sneeze on the baby & don't constantly touch the babies face. Keeping the baby away from you won't keep her from getting sick either

At 2 weeks old, I wouldn't mess with pumping. That could cause more issues than just nursing her the old fashioned way. You really shouldn't pump at all until your supply is established. If you're going back to work and plan on using a bottle, that's a different situation. Even then though, 2 weeks is pretty early.

Put a mask on and breastfeed your baby. She will get some immunity through your milk. Don't cough on her or kiss her until you are better.
