I'm 29 weeks and think im contracting???

I'm 29 weeks and I think im contracting,,I have sharp pains every so often in my sides and presure in my lower stomach. It's been 2 years sense i've had my last baby and both my boys were early..Should I go to the hospital and get checked or just let it pass?? I'm pretty sure my mucus plug is all the way gone now. I'm not sure what to do!

You can have more than 1 plug.

Are they bh?

unless they're 3-5 minutes apart they're BH...I had them the other day..it sucked.

braxton hicks...it's like fake contractions..kinda preparing your body for it.

OK got what BH is! No they are more like 30 mins. to an hour apart..I was just worried cus my first came at 7 months no warning signs at all and my 2nd came 71/2 months early he starting coming but my water wouldn't break so he had to break my water so im just worried about what this little guy is going to do.

It's just Braxton hicks. I had them from 22 weeks on. They don't do anything to the baby just some practicing for the body. If you re dehydrated you could go into early labor (like I did) but you will know when they r real contractions   oh you will smurfin know!! Lol just maybe put your feet up and drink ice cold water is what I did. Then they would subside for me.

If you have that history go get checked.

it sounds like your uterus is growing; atleast that is what my doc told me about the sharp pains in my sides. The other feeling could very well be braxton hicks.

im also 29 weeks due the same day   its BH i been getting it also my belly is hard and gassy it will go away like the one women said if you cant time them 3 to 5 mins apart its BH my doctor said the same thing BH will seem like your going into labor but your not and it will put some pain in your belly when i get pain i just get up and start walking it off it helps good luck

Thank you everyone!!! I was just so worried and concerned but im better now lol I'm going to drink more water all tho i don't think thats it cus thats all i do anymore LOL but if they get any closer i might go get check just because of my past history,,it just scares me!
