What because they're teenagers they don't read up on what is best for their child. That's an unfair assumption. I used that forum when I was first pregnant and I definitely knew all about vaccines.
I made it a priority when I first became pregnant to research raising infants and children. Part of that is vaccines. An almost any Internet site you use know will say "If you choose to vaccinate". I'm sure most mother regardless of whether they knew they did not have to vaccinate would have found out once becoming pregnant.
I am honestly shocked with a 5 week old child you thought you absolutely had to vaccinate. But I was more shocked that in your op I got the feeling that you thought mums who didn't were terrible parents. Just the vibe I got. I'm not saying you meant that.
I honestly couldn't care less whether someone vaccinated or not. And like another mum said earlier we do what we think is best. It's not really anyone else's business.
