re: some parents dont vaccinate their kids? O.O (long)

Just want to throw it out there we all do what we think is best for our children. So OP just be aware that others make choices that are best for their family and their own situations. Try not to act so demeaning when finding out that others don't do what you do. That's the only thing I have issues with here.

I refuse to get the shot again. I just have to make sure I don't come in contact with it while pregnant. Which is safer then the vaccines anyhow

Yes but I also vaccinate my kids. I was just saying from the other persepective. We only do meats about once a week. Dairy we are trying to get away from as much as possible.

I don't know why people always bring this kind of thing up. Of course people have died from vaccines. People can have a deadly allergic reaction to SOAP for pete's sake. Does that mean we need to stop washing our hands?

Nooooooooo I never said that. I have a reaction to alot of things. Latex for one....which I'm stupid about but oh well, still If a parent doesn't want to vaccinate because that is a risk then why should they have to? Like BPA causes cancer the US is trying to get it taken out of kids' products. Or CAN cause cancer I should say.

Lol I know right?!?!? I'm still baffled why my insurance will cover albuterol (which has alot of reactions for Audrianna) compared to Zopenex that doesn't cause her so many reactions.

People keep acting like its such a shock that I didn't know that people don't vaccinate their kids.

I was born in 92, I'm only 20, this is my first kid he's 5 weeks old, when I went to school if you didn't have your vaccine you were sent home. I watched someone get sent home and in middle school if a kid was called to the nurses office and then wasn't in class, it was cause they had been sent home for not having their vaccine. (It was rare for kids to get sent home, but we knew they were being sent home for that. In middle school things get around really fast, usually the kid in the nurses office would tell someone and then it got out. Or some kids, when they came back to school, would tell everyone why they were sent home.)

How many people out there don't know about this? How many of you knew that it was becoming more and more rare to get kids vaccinated? How many of you knew before you had a kid? Just cause you know, doesn't mean everyone else does! I wonder how many people would respond saying they knew about it if this got posted in teen pregnancy?

Dr Oz always makes me feel like i'm going to die of some horrible disease.

I wouldn't call it rare to get your kids not vaccinated. I think the majority still get it done, but i think there are more people now (and randomly an even higher percentage in the UK) who aren't getting it done than back 20 years ago when no one even thought it was an option to not get it.

Oh oh he had an interesting weight loss thing on the other day!   It was about knowing what your body has reactions to even if it is a healthy food!   Gah I need to be cleaning seeing as I'm going to have to have a plumber come out tomorrow because my house decided to have a water fall c ome out of it in the basement tonight.
