I wore it at all times, except while showering. Mine showed nothing irregular that I didn't already know.

This time I plan to wear it at all times. I don't think some of the episodes were recorded because I was allowed to take it off while I sleep and for a couple hours a day.

I had to have one last February for 48 hours straight and wasn't allowed to take it off during that time at all. That meant I couldn't shower during that time either. It was a pain the ass but at least I know whats wrong with my heart now. They told me to just go about my normal daily activities other than the showering while wearing it.

Can I ask what heart issue you have? I know something is wrong with my heart, my grandfather died from his arrhythmia but nobody knows what heart condition he had.

I plan to shower every other day, I want something to finally be done about my heart issue.

I was just on event monitor in November and I wore it constantly EXCEPT for when I was sleeping. My cardiologist told me I didn't need to wear it while sleeping unless I was having episodes that woke me up.


I had a very similar experience though. I was having palpitations (I am prone to them while pregnant), but I was also getting episodes where I would get very lightheaded, heart would race and skip beats, felt very shaky and weak. Soooo awful.

I ended up with a mild arrhythmia, but nothing that the doc thought was serious. He figures it's all pregnancy related.

I have a very rare heart arrhythmia(have no idea what the name is) and a leaky heart valve that is causing a murmur. Its a non issue now but I have to go back in a year for another heart ultrasound and will have to have a valve replacement in about 10 years. I found all this out after doing tests for a stroke I had a year ago when I was 4 weeks pp with my youngest.

Thanks! My heart issues started when I was pregnant but I thought it was just anxiety. Last January I realized that it wasn't anxiety at all, in February I got my heart monitor. Over the past year I've been having more episodes and they're getting more intense. When I clean or workout my heart just starts racing fast and it'll hours to slow down, last time it took 4.5 hours

Oh wow! I was suppose to have an ultrasound last April but I didn't go to it because the cardiologist was so rude. I regret now not getting the ultrasound
