I dont know what to buy, im so indecisive because idk how long we will live at our current house. I hope to buy a bigger one in 3-5 years so idk if I should just buy for now or get a few nice pieces that I can hold onto for later, kwim?

Savings for a down payment on a house.

Lol.

I wish my first marriage wasn't so big. I would have a lot more than a wasted day out of it.

Little cynic aside.... just pick things you like.

We didn't know what our living situation was going to be (he was military) which is why we didn't do the registry. That being said, I wish we'd done one and gotten nice stuff for the kitchen, picture frames/wall hangings, pieces that were nicer

This first two items on my list would be a shampooer and an awesome vacuum cleaner. Sounds odd I know lol.

I'd also put
bedding
things for hosting a party or big dinner. Like dishes and what not.
pillows
towels
4 slice toaster haha.

Did you know disney has a honeymoon registry where you can register for things like dinner at Victoria and Alberts? People pick which experiences they want to buy for you and then it all goes on a disney gift card for you to use on whatever you like.

I think I remember hearing about that but I havent seen it, Im not about to use their wedding planning website because we dont use FB and we really dont want to make a FB just to use the website. Can you do the Honeymoon registry without using FB?

hmmm I'm not sure, I will ask some of my other disney bride friends. I didn't use the registry when we got married and we didn't need to have a FB to use the planning site either, that's whack!

There is a wedding board on http://www.disboards.com which was really helpful and I used to be super active on, I met a bunch of awesome women on there when I was planning in 2007...even met most of them at various times in orlando. Now I mostly keep in touch with them thru IM and text.
