Measuring way ahead?
posted 9th Jan
I am almost 33w pregnant and I keep measuring more and more ahead as the weeks go by. I'm currently measuring at 40 weeks and I forgot to ask my MW what that means for baby and I if the baby is indeed measuring large at the ultrasound tomorrow, or if I have way too much fluid. What do they usually do? I'm terrified of measuring like 50+ weeks when I deliver.. I am so miserable as it is.

Fundal measurements and ultrasound measurements can be way off.

I always measured ahead of where I was supposed to. I did have high fluid levels and big babies. I had an ultra sound at 36 weeks that said the baby was measuring 44 weeks gestation!? I still dont really understand that!
