BH or real deal?

I have been having severe back pain and contractions every 4-6 mins for the last 27 hours straight, the back pain has not let up at all but moves from mid-back to lower-back. I have also had contractions in the front going from top to bottom. No leaking that is enough to notice for water-break though. also, a TMI, i have also had about 8 bowel movements in the last 24 hours.... I called my doc but the one on-call has such a heavy accent i cant understand him and wasnt comfy enough to tell him all my symptoms. Could this be it? or can Braxton Hicks really last this long????? Last time i was in labor i was induced, so i didnt have any of the pre-labor signs it went from normal day to real labor... any advice would be great, but calling the doc again is not really an option since i cant understand him either way

when are you due? Id say that you could very well be in early labour. Especially if the contractions are timeable and consistant.

I am due in 3 weeks, will be 37 weeks tomorrow

It could be it. It's hard to say though.
