I don't believe that babies do not breathe until their face hits the air, because my oldest daughter, had amniotic fluid in her lungs when she was born, from her taking breaths in the birth canal.

hence why i said, babies "dont usually" take breaths. i know it happens.

I about ripped my eyeballs out from the suspense of when they would get that baby out of the water in the second video lol, I think my heart skipped a few beats. I think it would be really awesome to be able to have a water birth Ive been thinking about it with this one as well.

Thank you, she got pneumonia from it, but now she is a bratty teenager, so it all worked out.

Good luck with your water birth, unfortunately that was nothing that was even a remote possibility for me. I think its a very cool concept, and its something I would have considered if I had been able to.

thank you. with my history so far a waterbirth seems doable. obviously if i cant i cant. but my last 3 births have gone as planned hoping to keep the pattern!
