also I had the same problem with waiting for medicaid. Did you get an acceptance letter yet? Because if you got an acceptance letter then there should be a number on there that you will be able to use to get prescriptions filled until your medical cards come in. If you haven't gotten a letter I would call them or go over there and see if you have been approved and ask them for your medical id number so you can get a prescription filled. It was $56 for 10 pills of the generic version of zofran at cvs where I live and I couldn't afford that either and ended up getting sick again because I couldn't get it filled and I felt horrible until my medicaid finally went through they did give me a hard time about filling the zofran for me though because it is so much money and if you have a hard time with them agreeing to pay for it ask your doctor to prescribe you with regulin (think thats how its spelled) my doctor prescribed me that and medicaid agreed to pay for the generic version of it (metoclopramide)
