Oh you'll be fine, you'll pick it up quickly and they're "Kilts" very old traditional dress. Mostly worn at Weddings or other events and the"true Scotsman" doesn't wear anything under them either so you'll love it

Yet when I wear nothing under my skirt, it's inappropriate   I'll just start telling people it's a kilt.
