WWYD? Help!

Back story: My SO has a 4 year old that we have temporary full custody of, but the mother has supervised visitation. The catch is the mother's mom (LO's grandma) is the 'supervisor'.. the judge agreed to that because we had allowed the grandma in LO's life even though the mother wasn't around from 1 year until 4.5 years of age. The grandma overdosed LO on purpose to "make her better and sleep." After that we didn't allow her around LO so she forced her daughter (LO's mom) to fight for custody. Trial is the 30th and they have disobeyed the court order in every way possible so hopefully we get a new supervisor.

Anyway, after LO's last visit she has been jumpy and saying, "that scared me!" after every little noise. I sat her down to talk with her and she told me last time she was there her step-grandpa hit her grandma and she saw it. She told me they are always fighting. Our lawyer is out of the office all week... she's scheduled to go there this Saturday through Sunday afternoon. What do we do?

ehh, sadly I think your hands are tied. If you don't take her to the visit, you'll be in contempt of court.

I know... she bawls every time we talk to her about going.. only two more visits until trial.. they've cancelled 50% of the time. They both go to work and leave LO with the step-grandpa. They don't know we know that though.

Thank you. It's all a joke. She wasn't around for years. She even told the judge she does pot and meth. We have a different judge for trial so fingers crossed.
