Stressed, need advice on what to do

After I have my baby, I'm supposed to go back to work after 6 weeks but ill probably take some more time, but I really do not want to go back there full time because ill have to send my LO there (I work at a daycare) and I do not want her in daycare that young, at least not until she's a year or two. So I was going to apply at other places during my leave where I could work in the afternoon/ night so that I can be with her during the day and then my mom would watch her later on. But I have been at the daycare for over 5 years now and a few months ago I left to work somewhere else, ended up hating it so I asked them for my job back, which I got. And they recently just gave me full time there, after I've been asking for a while. So I was wondering if It be rude of me to quit there again? Also I was thinking I could just do part time there like 3-6 everyday, but again would that be a jerk thing to ask for of them after they just gave me full time? I'm so stressed over this because I don't want to be stuck having to send her there, and another thing is its 250$ per week, so if I don't get any sort of assistance, I might as well just stay home.

So idk if I should just quit there all together and look for something different where I'm able to be home during the day, or ask them if I can go back to part time so I can be home during the day....

It is kind of rude IMO, but you've got to do what's best for your family too.

We can't get any assistance for daycare so I am staying home unless I find a job that is opposite shifts of my husband. It is more beneficial for me to stay home instead of working because me working is going to be like twice my paycheck.

Do you have your SO to support you or what is your current living situation? That is really what you need to consider in making your decision. I think your work would be getting really annoyed by this point with you quitting and going back, begging for full time and getting it now wanting part time...

I know that's the thing, I don't want to keep doing this to my job because they go out of their way for me, but then again I need to think if my family and what's best which is why I'm so stressed out over this.

And my SO is able to help and he also doesn't want LO in daycare, but he can't really support me completely, I'd like to make my own money anyway. But I only have to pay for my car payment and school loan which I'd be able to doing part time and he would help me if I needed it.

Why not see if you can babysit? That way you can stay with LO and make a few bucks to help pay your bills.

Yeah I was thinking about that but I don't know who I would babysit, I'd feel weird asking the parents at my daycare. I babysit a few occasionally but I would need to like a few days a week.

Try care.com or craigslist. I found a family to babysit for off craigslist. Though they never paid me the last few times I watched the kids but felt bad in asking since I knew they were tight for cash just like I was since the mom was pregnant and due 2 weeks before me and they were getting ready to move out of state.

I had a friend's wife find a family to work for on care.com and it was a long term thing 5 days a week and holidays. It makes it a little harder when you have your own child to take along but you can just charge a lower rate and most people don't really care.
