I stopped taking the iron a few days ago because it was making me too constipated and I wasn't bleeding so they didn't prescribe it to me when I left. I'm going to see how I feel tomorrow but I bought some eggs and I'm going to eat them tomorrow. Egg yolks are really high in iron.

Oh no
If the blood is flowing, I'd go back in. I don't know why they'd say that's normal.

I hope you feel better, mama. You deserve a break!

I went for an ultrasound and talked to my doctor yesterday. He explained that a chronic placental abruption is like a wound that doesn't heal. It will probably keep bleeding through the rest of my pregnancy

So what are they going to do about it though? I mean, isn't that dangerous for the baby?

Are they just monitoring blood flow or something?

It's only dangerous if it rips off more or all the way so he said if I start having more bleeding than I already have been, my temp goes up, I don't feel as much movement as normal, pain, or contractions to head in. Otherwise we're going to stick with appointments once a week and ultrasounds twice a week to monitor how baby's doing. I think they're going to measure his growth next week and compare it to last time(2 weeks ago now) that they measured him.

No they said there's no way to know and a lot of the time they never know a reason. Could just be the way the placenta attached to the uterus in the first place.

Ugh, so scary. I'm sorry you even have to worry about this.
I hope that little stinker can stay put until the late 30's weeks at least!

Me too! There's so much riding on this. My doula came to talk to me today for the first time since this started. We were trying to edit my birth plan and its just impossible now because there are soooo many factors we don't know yet. It's like a web chart lol like if this happens follow this arrow and if that happens follow that arrow and just keeps branching off and branching off. I want to labor in the tub but my hospital only has one room with a tub in it and it serves a TON of women so chances are slim it will be available, and they won't even let me have it if I'm being induced and may not let me have it at all because of the complications. I also don't want a ton of nurses barging in on me but if I have to be monitored they have to be there. Ughh it's so frustrating. I wanted to have a home birth so bad!
