Quoting Will☮Creedence:" I can't do this anymore. I am so depressed. I have no privacy. Everyone walks in and out of my room like ... [snip!] ... They treat me like I'm 3 years old. I want to leave so bad, idk how much longer I can handle this. I feel so disrespected "
Oh sweets, I'm sorry --- that is crap & you have every right to feel that way. It is truly dehumanizing to be in that position. You feel like a lab rat or a number instead of a person. I know you understand why they have to do certain things and such... but it doesn't make it easier to swallow & I'm sure not everyone is as careful about your feelings as they should be.
A lot of times, hospitals (especially neo-natal care or maternity units) will have a social worker-type person or counselor that you can talk to in order to keep your sanity. You can relay all of your concerns to that person & he/she can help you come up with a plan to make proper changes for this to be more comfortable for you.
If that's not for you --- then use us & rant on, lovely!
