well well.

We took LO one in for his 1 month check up right? Well, we forgot to make an appointment, for his hips. She says his hips hurt, and when she(doctor) moves them arond he screams. But when I am home and i do the same thing, he doesnt scream at all. hmm.

but not the reason. she said she was going to call CPS on me. Like I was abandoning my kid. its not like he is losing weight and i dont feed him, or he is beaten. It could be worse. He's perfectly healthy.

for all they know we could be moroms, and not have to see a doctor. And to tell us we have to have our son Circumcised. We stil haven't gotten around to it. everyone has been sick around our house. Ive been taken care of a sick baby, 3y/o and Jake. And plus the other people in the house.

But seriouly. has a doctor ever said that to you? over one appointment.

A lot of us consider circumcising to be abuse, so that is ridiculous to report you to anyone for not doing it. Explain it is the legal default and an informed decision, end of story.

As far as his hips, you could show the doctor how it doesn't hurt him when you do the same thing. She may be doing it differently and be detecting an issue. Or your baby may just not like her! If your baby is not in any pain at home and his normal care is not being affected then i would also explain that.

I would probably find a new doctor.

She sounds stupid. Just explain to CPS and they should see straight away there is nothing wrong. They should just be annoyed with her for wasting their time.

We had a doctor tell us that co-sleeping with our daughter and not giving our children the flu shot would kill them.

This was after her nurse declared our 9 month old daughter weighed only 7lbs.

Some people are idiots, it is a wonder how they get their jobs.
There are some really weird people out there who will complain about anything just for fun.

I would be SO pissed! DD's pedi thought there was something wrong with her hips once. She had another pedi come in for a second opinion and they decided it was nothing.  

I can't believe they called CPS on you. Wtf.

Honestly it sucks, but if you have nothing to hide it isn't too big of a deal they called CPS on you.

They just have no reason to call them on us. I hate it. Im swithcing his doctor anyways now.
