I have never heard a story where a guy told a woman he was getting a divorce and he was telling the truth....

A man can be happy to have a child and not like the mother... Maybe he tried to reconcile things when he found out she was pregnant?

Do you know for a fact that those things never happened? Maybe they changed their minds and decided to work things out.

I know better now. I figured it out a couple of months after he left, which is why we're no longer friends. I don't know why seeing that on FB just ticked me off today.

I don't know for a fact that he did file divorce. I didn't go with him or see her get papers served. Maybe she did get her act together afterwards. I don't know the whole story.
