That's my effing book!!!!

I'm so pissed off right now I could scream. I loaned my cousin a couple of my religion books. She moved and took the books with her. She didn't move far so I asked her after a couple of months for my books back. She told me that she had packed them into boxes and put them in the barn and would just rather buy me new books than go look for them in the barn. I'm pissed! She is the type of girl who won't buy me new ones, plus those books were important to me. I had highlighted stuff in them an written notes on what I had read in the books. I can't get that back. So I'm out two books. I'm so pissed.

What would you do?

Go to the barn and get them yourself?

Offer to help her look for them?

I would just tell her that they are important to you and you would appreciate it if she would look for them or if it is okay, you can go look for them.

oh and I wouldn't loan her anything anymore!

I would definitely explain the importance, and tell her that you leant them to her only under the assumption that you would get them back.
